Inova Federal Credit Union has agreed to merge with Associated Federal Credit Union, in a combination of two institutions located in Elkhart, Ind.
The $301 million-asset Inova and the $5 million-asset Associated will combine on May 21, after Associated's members approved the combination in a vote on March 19, with 94% of those voting favoring the measure.
Inova also plans to close Associated's lone office on Jackson Boulevard in Elkhart after completion of the merger.
Associated was established in 1952 and has about 500 members.
Inova has about 32,000 members and nine branches in Indiana, California and North Carolina.
