Insight Financial CU Replaces Top Execs

ORLANDO, Fla. – Insight Financial CU announced Friday it had removed its two top executives and named named Richard Simonton, its chief financial officer, as president and CEO.

Lynn Owen III, former president and CEO, and former Chief Operations Officer Jody Walls, are no longer with the financial institution, according to a statement.

Insight Financial's board said in a statement it chose to restructure to further benefit its members while allowing it to remain financially sound.

The board also named Jeffrey Swerdlow as chief operations officer and Kristy Moist as chief communications officer.

The $435 million credit union earned net income of $933,000 for the first six months of the year, down from $1.2 million earned for the first half last year.
