Insights Into Small Biz Offered to CUSO Members

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Credit unions that are members of Member Business Solutions, a CUSO of Southeast Corporate, now will have access to research from Barlow Research Associates, Inc., related to the financial behaviors of small businesses.

BRAI said it provides financial institutions research on small businesses and their banking habits. According to Southeast Corporate, BRAI annually surveys 4,000 small businesses on topics that include everything from products they use with their financial institutions to service satisfaction levels.

In the past, results were shared only with BRAI’s banking clients. “But now, MBS partners will have access to the information, giving them a competitive edge in knowing what small business owners want from their institutions,” MBS said. “In addition, MBS partners will be able to attend BRAI’s quarterly Economic Pulse webinars. At these events, attendees receive updates on current economic conditions, such as the global financial crisis, unemployment, and U.S. debt, and how it could affect changes in business banking habits.”
