LIVONIA, Mich. – The “Invest in America” program is expanding to include Allied Van Lines and its agent, Carey Moving and Storage.
Launched initially as a discount program for automobiles in partnership with General Motors and Chrysler, the program recently expanded to include recreational vehicles. “Invest in America members can take advantage of discounts usually reserved for Fortune 1000 companies with Allied Moving and Storage,” Invest in America announced.
“The discounts include a minimum 60% off interstate moves and significant savings on intrastate (local) full-service moves and storage.” The partnership also gives credit union members access to advantages such as lifting peak season restrictions, enhanced transit times, expedited claims settlements and complementary pairs and sets valuation protection – ensuring that if part of a furniture set is broken, Allied will replace the whole set subject to certain restrictions.
Invest in America was developed by and is being led by CUcorp, a subsidiary of the Michigan Credit Union League. To date it has facilitated more than 180,000 auto sales, with financing through credit unions. More than 1,900 CUs are participating.
