LIVONIA, Mich. — Invest in America has announced that the GM and Chrysler member discount programs have been extended through Dec. 31, 2009, according to the Michigan Credit Union League, which helped spearhead the creation of the program.

The league said the terms of the program are flexible and could change from month to month.
GM has announced that for the month of July it is offering a $250 incentive in addition to supplier pricing. The top three states for the program, so far, are Michigan, Texas and Pennsylvania.
