Sharetec Adds 2 New CU Clients

LINO LAKES, Minn.–Two more CUs have selected Shartec Systems to provide core processing solutions, the company announced. Los Alamos Schools CU and Southwest Oklahoma FCU both signed with the data processing provider to replace existing systems. Shartec, which has been in business since 1993, has more than 300 CU clients across the United States.

Webinars For Business Plans

INDIANAPOLIS–FISolve is now more than halfway through its summer educational webinar series dedicated to helping CUs put together and enhance their business continuity plans, it said.

Perimeter eSecurity Buys Edgeos

MILFORD, Conn.–Perimeter eSecurity has acquired Edgeos, Inc. and merged its vulnerability services with Perimeter’s management solution suite, which includes server and desktop A/V, patch and configuration management, and a number of network-based and CPE-based security services. The new enhanced internal and external scanning technology and the online PCI questionnaire and optional consulting, provides significant enhancements to Perimeter’s PCI Compliance Solution Suite, the company said.

Espeeco Switches Core Processor

MEMPHIS, Tenn.–In an effort to better comply with OFAC identity requirements and provide home banking for members, Espeeco FCU has said it has upgraded its core processor to NewSolutions by Share One. The process of deciding on a new system and installation will take about 10 months in total, with the new processor scheduled to go live on Dec. 1. “Everyone is excited because NewSolutions is so far advanced from what we are currently running,” said an Espeeco manager.
