Harland and EVault In Partnership
EMERYVILLE, Calif.-Just over a year since EVault and Harland Financial solutions announced their partnership, the firms have signed more than 40 Harland Financial's existing core system clients to utilize the new Data Storage Solutions, powered by EVault, a Seagate subsidiary.
The partnership enables credit unions to back up their business-critical data, including all UNIX and Window applications, databases and systems, to Harland Financial Solutions' services center, the companies said. "We went from a scenario where it would take three to four days to get back up and running, to a scenario where two-and-a-half to three hours later, we have our whole system, our online banking and our telephony, back up to almost full capacity, as if nothing had happened," said the senior vice president of IT at Marshland Credit Union. EVault's technology is used by hundreds of credit unions in North America and is relied on by more than 20,000 customers worldwide.
