Wolters Kluwer Acquires Gulf Pak
MINNEAPOLIS-Wolters Kluwer Corporate & Financial Services has agreed to acquire GulfPak Corp., a Jackson, Miss.-based provider of automated lending and account origination solutions to more than 700 credit unions and banks. GulfPak is best known for its mortgage origination, imaging and e-signature products.

Nevada FCU Signs With Corillian
LAS VEGAS-Nevada FCU signed with Corillian Corp. to install the company's Intelligent Authentication multi-factor online authentication and anti-fraud system. Corillian will integrate with the $850-million credit union's existing in-house online banking system. The Corillian system will bring the 80,000-member CU into compliance with new federal requirements for multifactor authentication for all high-risk online financial transactions by year-end.

Anti-Keylogging FRED Launched
EDISON, N.J.-StrikeForce Technologies joined with Fraud Resource Group to introduce an Internet toolbar that wraps website and user authentication, anti-keylogging, and anti-fraud member awareness information into a single solution.
The system, dubbed FRED, for Fraud Resource E-Security Defense, is aimed at meeting new federal requirements for anti-fraud and online authentication. The anti-keylogging service is activated as soon as the Internet browser in launched. Then, FRED verifies the authenticity of the credit union's website, authenticates the user and the user's machine to the financial institution, then updates member education.

EPL Offers Authentication Solution

VeriFone Acquires Payment Biz
DALLAS-VeriFone has agreed to acquire the payment systems business of Trintech Group plc., of Ireland, for $12.1 million in cash. The acquisition includes a variety of payment systems that will support and extend VeriFone's existing offerings for financial institutions and merchants, including self-service, vending and pay-at-the-pump applications. VeriFone will take over the distribution and marketing of those products and will providing existing Trintech customers with service and support.

SANTA CLARA, Calif.-Tech CU signed with Quest Analytics LLC to implement the company's ENVISION Cross-Sell predictive solution to help it cross-sell products and services to its members. AAFCU Selects Self-Service System
FORTH WORTH, Texas-American Airlines FCU announced Friday it has selected TuVox On Demand Speech Applications to enhance its customer service. TuVox will replace the $2.5 billion credit union's touch-tone voice system with a branded voice channel. The TuVox Perfect Router conversational call routing application will allow members to simply say why they're calling and be directed to the appropriate automated retail banking channel or member service representative.
