CUTEK Develops Safe Deposit Box

MURRIETA, Calif.-CUTEK Inc. reported that among its most recent consulting projects was work with the $1.1-billion NASA FCU in Upper Marlborough, Md., in which it created an HTML safe deposit box interface to ensure the process of members applying and surrendering boxes is an efficient one. The idea was developed by NFCU, with CUTEK developing the interface.

Volume Soars For RDC Solution

WOBURN, Mass.-Eastern Corporate FCU and its subsidiary, Vertifi Software, reported that their proprietary remote deposit capture (RDC) service, DeposZip, now has more than 100,000 registered users across 62 participating CUs in the U.S. To date, more than 850,000 checks have been processed, totaling more than $660 million-including $41 million received via mobile banking channels alone since the mobile program became active in early 2010. DeposZip enables members, including business accounts, to deposit checks from their homes or offices, relying on simple desktop or multi-feed scanners, or program-supported smart phone applications. The smart phone applications are freely available on the App Store and Google's Android Market.
