Bossier FCU Moving To USERS
BOSSIER CITY, La.-Bossier FCU here has selected USERS, Inc. as its new data processing provider. The $56-million credit union will convert to USERS' DataSafe system in February, 2006. According to USERS, Bossier's system search was prompted when the credit union's core processor was acquired two years ago. "Rather than automatically migrate to the new provider's system, credit union management believed it was prudent to conduct a comprehensive search," USERS said. "Leading its list of criteria was an open architecture capable of easing integration with third-party applications, a hallmark of USERS' DataSafe(r) core system."

LocatorSearch Selected By Two
HARRISON, N.Y.-LocatorSearch LLC, an aggregated, online branch, ATM, and shared service center locator search engine, has signed Laurel, Md.-based Tower FCU and Pottstown, Pa.-based Diamond Credit Union to use its ATM, branch, and credit union service center online search service. The company said its LocatorSearch's search engine allows members to search for all types of ATM and branch locations within a five- to 50-mile radius of their area. Members can even customize their searches to include only non-surcharge ATMs, all from their credit union's website.

11 CUs Select SilverCloud
PORTSMOUTH, N.H.- SilverCloud reported that it sold 11 more knowledge systems in May to seven credit unions, and that it now has as clients more than 90 credit unions across the U.S. ranging in size from $90 million to $2.5 billion. SilverCloud said that using its solution, all seven credit unions will be now able to answer the large majority of member online questions instantly, and effectively manage all incoming questions to ensure they're answered.
Additionally, four of the credit unions will be using SilverCloud to directly support their call centers and employees. The new clients include: Langley FCU, Accentra CU, Southern Utah FCU, Hawaii Community CU, Dupont Fibers FCU, Members 1st FCU, and Palmetoo Citizens FCU.
