KALSEE CU Names New CEO

KALSEE Credit Union, a $169-million institution based in Kalamazoo, Mich., announced that after an "exhaustive search," its board selected Matthew L. Lahman as its new president and CEO.

Lahman, who had served as KALSEE's chief operating officer since 2010, will succeed Rudy T. Callen, who will retire on April 1.

Prior to his post as chief operating officer at KALSEE, Lahman worked as VP of lending at Consumers Credit Union, a $675-million institution also based in Kalamazoo.

Lahman also has 13 years in the banking industry. He earned his B.A. in business administration and economics from Kalamazoo College; and an associates of art in business administration from Kalamazoo Valley Community College.

"As KALSEE's new CEO, I'm passionate about continuing and expanding upon that forward progress. It's an exciting time to be part of this team," Lahman said in a statement.
