MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. – Kinecta FCU is the latest credit union to join the Green Movement in a meaningful way–pledging to plant a new tree in the Brazilian Rain Forest for every member who converts to electronic statements between now and Sept. 30.

The $4 billion credit union hopes to plant 1,000 trees through the Nature Conservancy, which will put the plan into action.
Electronic statements will not only save a tree but an estimated $12 to $17 per member for the credit union.
