NEW BERLIN, Wis. – Landmark CU, in the process of integrating two recent mergers, is seeking to acquire Horizon CU, a $26-million credit union in nearby Racine.
The proposed merger comes as the $1.7-billion Landmark is still digesting Co-Operative CU, a $22-million Burlington institution, and American CU, a $23-million Milwaukee credit union.
Horizon, chartered in 1938 to serve employees of J.I. Case, has a single office.
Landmark now has more than 20 branches and more than 190,000 members.
