Longtime CEO At Nutmeg State FCU Retiring

ROCKY HILL, Conn. – Nutmeg State FCU announced that its CEO Loren Dickinson, who tripled the size of the credit union to $340 million, is retiring Oct. 31 after 23 years in the corner office.

Dickinson went to Nutmeg in 1987 after 19 years as the executive vice president for member services at the CU League of Connecticut.

Nutmeg, chartered in 1936 as Hartford Telephone FCU, became a community charter in 2006.

The credit union reported a loss of $80,000 for the first quarter, after an $8.3 million loss for 2009, but strong net worth of 12%.
