LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles FCU has formed a partnership with Shop LA to launch a new Visa card that will establish LA as a retail shopping destination by offering triple rewards points on any purchases made within the city.

The rewards points that can be earned with the card will be able to be used for merchandise, travel and gift cards as well as loans.
As well as earning triple the amount of usual points with the cards, all of the users will also be helping the city of LA as for every $10 that is spent on sales in the city, LA spends $1 on helping services including the police, fire, libraries and many others.
The credit union’s Shop LA Visa card will be introduced with a 0% rate for the first six months.
