The League has secured an additional $100,000 in value-added sponsorships, billboards, web links, promotional tie-ins and public service announcements.

"With holiday shopping, travel and a number of related activities, December is a high listening time for radio," said Debra Trautman, marketing manager for the league. "We have an aggressive and innovative schedule that targets a number of key demographics."

The league’s 2009 campaign raised $500,000 to buy 70,000 TV commercials, text messaging, sponsorships and other awareness opportunities.
