AUGUSTA, Maine – The National CU Foundation has awarded the Maine CU League a $16,000 grant, which will fund a 12-month collaborative project aimed at bringing and offering REAL Solutions to Maine consumers between the ages of 18 and 28 years old.

During the next year, Maine credit unions will work with the NCUF to implement initiatives aimed at encouraging young adults to grow savings, establish credit and build assets. Credit unions will meet on a regular basis through regional and one-on-one meetings with a REAL Solutions Field Coach, who will offer suggestions, resources and guidance on ideas and initiatives.
