Maine CUs Hit Airwaves For Summer Awareness Program

AUGUSTA, Maine – The Maine CU League launched its summer awareness program on radio stations statewide.

During the four-week campaign more than 2,000 sixty-second commercials will air on stations that cover 95% of the state.

In addition to the paid commercials, nearly $100,000 in value-added awareness is being provided to Maine's credit unions at no charge. These include billboards, sponsorships, web links and promotional tie-ins.

In the campaign's first week on the air, visits to the www.mainecreditunions.org website increased nearly 90% over the previous week.
