Maine CUs Roll Out Facebook ‘Share It’ Campaign For Shared Branching

AUGUSTA, Maine – Maine’s credit unions are kicking off a new marketing campaign for the state’s shared branching network that asks members to share their favorite shared branching moment on Facebook.

From now through Sept. 30, the “Share It” campaign is asking credit union members to share their favorite sharing moment, or why they love Shared Branching through Facebook or, for a chance to win $500 to share, or second place prizes of a GPS.

Credit unions are encouraged to direct members to these pages through their own social media sites.

Credit unions also have the opportunity to make members winners, as the Share It Prize Patrol can be conducted by credit union branch staff. Each participating branch will receive $60 with campaign envelopes to split between three members of their choosing. Credit unions who participate in the Prize Patrol will have a chance to win $500 for their favorite charity by entering a script or photos of how you presented Shared Branching and the Prize Patrol money to your members. The most creative entry will win.
