Marine FCU Pledges $100,000 To Soldiers’ Scholarship Fund

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – Marine FCU has committed $100,000 to a national campaign aimed at providing scholarships to the children of Marines and Navy corpsmen.

The money will go to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation’s American Patriots Campaign. That campaign aims to raise $50 million by 2012, which marks the foundation’s 50th anniversary.

The foundation provides scholarships with an emphasis on students whose parent has been injured or killed in action.
