AMARILLO, Texas – After more than 40 years in credit unions, Terry McCormick, CEO of Texas Plains FCU here, said he will retire in January.
After serving in the Air Force, McCormick joined CUNA Mutual Group from 1966-1969 as a field rep before joining Borger 66 FCU (now Borger FCU) and later Plains Bell FCU, now Texas Plains FCU. During his career, McCormick has been active both in credit unions and in his local community.
Kasha Young has been named to succeed McCormick.
