BROOKLINE, Mass. – Medical Area FCU said it donated $11,000 to two organizations serving the homeless: Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless; and Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program.

The funds were raised through a raffle for a 2010 Honda Insight hybrid. The raffle drawing took place Nov. 5. The Honda Insight was provided by MAFCU affiliate Prime Motor Group.
The raffle was a joint project with the Massachusetts CU League, which has a long-time partnership of supporting the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.
