NAPLES, Fla. – A member of Suncoast Schools FCU on Monday was arrested and charged with stealing an envelope containing $1,000 that another member accidentally left behind at the branch in May.

Aldith Robinson, 44, was identified by surveillance videos after the unfortunate member had absent-mindedly left a white envelope with $1,000 cash inside. The member had cashed a cashier’s check and placed the envelope on the counter while he was filling out the paperwork for the transaction. Realizing that he forgot something at home that he needed to make his transaction, he left the branch, forgetting his cash on the counter.
When he realized he forgot the money, he returned to the credit union and found the envelope missing from the counter.
