ALEXANDRIA, Va. - (08/09/05) -- A former teller supervisor wasbanned from credit unions by NCUA for stealing funds from at least20 senior citizen members, most of them in their 70's and 80's, atKern FCU. Dorothy Jean Rogers was convicted of embezzlement andsentenced to six months in jail and ordered to pay more than$15,000 in restitution. NCUA also banned Melonie Unger, a formerbranch manager for Syracuse FCU, for making as much as $50,000 inunauthorized withdrawals from members' accounts. Also banned were:Helen Rent, former manager of Community CU, Milwaukee; DonnaBennett, former manager Fort Ligonier FCU; Lawrence Hall, formerCEO of Amarillo Community FCU; Clyde Matsuoka, former vicepresident of Hawaii Schools FCU; Ida Kieschnick, former loanofficer at St. Gregory's FCU; and Marybeth Wisneiwski, formermember service rep. At Raritan Bay FCU.
