Members 1st CU Taps New CEO

Members 1st Credit Union, based in Redding, Calif., said Teri Vanderpol has been selected to succeed CEO Mark Moore when he retires next year.

Vanderpol currently works as the $111 million credit union's chief financial officer and president, having served in that position since 2001. She joined the CUas a bookkeeper in 1993 and rose through the ranks to serve as vice president of finance, vice president of human resources and executive vice president before taking her current role within the organization in 2014.

The credit union said Vanderpol has helped guide it through complicated mergers as well as create procedures to manage its financial health.

"[Vanderpol] has a thorough knowledge and understanding of our history and an eagerness to increase the efficiency and health of the credit union," Moore said in a press release. The credit union has begun a search for her replacement as CFO.

Members 1st operates three branches and serves those around Shasta and Tehama Counties in California.
