Members Choice Credit Union in Houston names new CEO

Members Choice Credit Union in Houston named Luke Billeri as its new CEO, effective Jan. 1. 

Billeri succeeded Randy Theilig, who was named CEO in 2016 and is now retired.  Billeri joined the $730.4 million-asset Members Choice Credit Union in 2020 as chief lending and retail officer and was named executive vice president in 2022. 

Luke Billeri has been named the new CEO of Members Choice Credit Union in Houston, Texas.

"During his time at Members Choice, Luke has shown to be a proven strategic leader and a strong addition to the current executive leadership team. His entrepreneurial and business-building competencies will lead MCCU into the future as we continue our vision to be the most member-centric credit union," Members Choice Chairman Johnny Williams said in a press release Monday.

The credit union, which was founded in 1941, serves more than 46,000 members.

Members Choice earned $4.1 million in the first nine months of 2022 after posting a loss of $744,000 a year earlier, according to call report data from the National Credit Union Administration.
