WESTLAND, Mich. - Drivers waited patiently in line at a local Mobil station and a BP station in Dearborn to fill up their tanks at a 25-cents-a-gallon discount, courtesy of Livonia-based CO-OP Services CU.

The gas special allowed motorists to buy up to 30 gallons at the discounted price, $3.55 for regular.
