PLAINFIELD, Ind. – As a reward for being the 100,000th member of Indiana Members CU, one college student earned 100,000 pennies – or the equivalent thereof, $1,000.

Holly Brune, a 20-year-old student at nearby Ivy Tech, was the winner of a $1,000 check in place of a big chunk of change.
The credit union was founded on the Indiana University Purdue University campus more than 52 years ago. With $1.1 billion in assets, it has grown to be the largest credit union in central Indiana.
