FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Two men face federal charges accusing them of trying to burn down a Three Rivers FCU branch in March 2007.

The arson charges relate to an incident when firefighters arrived at the credit union to find a stolen Dodge Ram pickup truck ablaze in the drive-through lane.
At first, firefighters worried there was someone inside the truck, but they later found the vehicle was unoccupied. The fire was extinguished, but the drive-through window was shattered and there was smoke and water damage to a small section of the building, according to court documents.
The suspects, James Groover, 22, and Thomas McCloud are charged with arson to a credit union and aiding and abetting arson to a credit union.
