Meriwest CU Offers Hardship Assistance To Struggling Members

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Meriwest CU has developed a special program aimed at helping troubled homeowners and other borrowers navigate their way financial restructuring.

The credit union’s newly created Hardship Assistance Team will work closely with borrowers in an effort to structure solutions to their specific financial situations, including first mortgages and subordinated debts secured by their homes such as second real estate loans and lines.

Meriwest is a former IBM Employees credit union serving residents of Silicon Valley, the Greater Bay Area and Tucson, Arizona.
