MILWAUKEE - (08/16/05) -- Metavante Corp. said it as completedthe acquisition of GHR Systems, Inc., in a deal that will addconsumer finance and mortgage loan origination technology to itsstable of services. Metavante, a unit of bank holding companyMarshall & Ilsley Corp., paid $65 million for the Wayne, Pa.,company, comprised of $55 million in M&I stock and $10 millionin cash. The deal is the fifth for Metavante so far this year, witha sixth, the acquisition of data processor Brasfield Corp., stillpending.
