BROWN DEER, Wis. - (07/05/06) -- Metavante Corp. announced it hasagreed to acquire Vicor Inc., a Richmond, Calif., provider ofcorporate payment processing software. Vicor's software simplifiesand automates complex payments. The company's flagship product,Receivable Information Delivery System, is a lockbox and remittancesystem that delivers wholesale, retail and scannable paymentprocessing functionality on a single platform. Terms of the dealwere not disclosed. Metavante is a wholly owned unit of Marshall& Ilsley Corp., a Milwaukee bank holding company.
