Michigan First CU Boosts Lending With Car Sale

LATHRUP VILLAGE, Mich. – Michigan First CU is hosting its annual summer "Loan Zone" car sale Aug. 13-14.

The Loan Zone car sale will feature both new and used vehicles, including more than 100 cars less than $10,000 each, on site at Michigan First's Lathrup Village and Eastpointe locations. Featured vehicles and details on the car sale can be viewed at www.MichiganFirstCars.com, a website developed by the credit union as a resource for those in the market for a new car.

"The Loan Zone event is always an excellent way to offer our members great loan opportunities and vehicle options conveniently in the same location," said Michael Poulos, president and CEO of Michigan First Credit Union. "Our mission is to provide financing for people with a wide range of credit ratings, while ensuring that they are in a loan that they can afford."

The Loan Zone event is preceded by a pre-approval period, whereby members and non-members can work with Michigan First to determine their financing options ahead of time. To date, more than $1.3 million in auto loans have already been approved for applicants who plan to attend the Loan Zone event.

Michigan First also leverages its relationships with dealers in metro Detroit to provide competitive pricing and incentives for consumers.
