Michigan State University FCU Opens ‘Trade Name’ Branch At Oakland U

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Michigan State University FCU opened a new branch at the Oakland University student center – known as Oakland University CU – as part of a long-term financial relationship with the college.

In addition to opening a new branch in the Oakland Center, the $2.4-billion credit union is providing several ATM locations on campus and offering financial education services.

MSU FCU has made a nearly $5-million financial commitment to Oakland U over 10 years as part of this new partnership agreement. Portions of this support have been earmarked for beneficial campus programs and initiatives, including:

• a $25,000 endowed student scholarship;
• a $25,000 Dean's Choice Grant Program;
• a variety of signature sponsorships; and,
• in-kind marketing.

Oakland University serves almost 20,000 students and offers more than 260 degree and certificate programs.
