Saginaw, Mich. — Catholic Federal Credit Union said it recently received NCUA approval to add St. Mary's Medical Center of Michigan as a Select Employee Group.
St. Mary's is a subsidiary of Ascension Health and is a teaching affiliate of the Michigan State University. Both the hospital and the CU are headquartered here.
Adding St. Mary's as a SEG means all interested St. Mary's employees are eligible to join the credit union.
"The credit union volunteers and staff are all very pleased the NCUA has approved our application to serve the employees at St. Mary's of Michigan," Alan Watson, president and CEO of Catholic FCU, said in a statement. "They will all soon discover our South Washington, Saginaw branch is well-positioned and ready to serve their financial needs and those of their families."
"I love Catholic Federal Credit Union and have been a loyal member since 1974, the same year I started at St. Mary's," said Mary Bator, radiation therapist at St. Mary's of Michigan. "Catholic Federal makes my life easier and my banking simple. Whenever I stop in at a branch, I feel like I'm catching up with old friends. I am excited that everyone at St. Mary's is now eligible to join and enjoy all of the benefits of being a member."
Catholic Federal union has locations in Bay City, Essexville, Saginaw and Vassar in Michigan.
