ROYAL OAK, Mich. – OUR CU has named Deb Thompson, a longtime credit union executive and most recently senior vice president for operations at nearby Bank of Birmingham (Mich.), as president and CEO of the $200-million credit union.

Thompson, who is succeeding Tom Zamberlan, also worked for Michigan Schools & Government CU as vice president for strategic business services for two years following her time as SOC CU’s vice president of finance and operations, a position she held for 16 years.
Zamberlan worked for the credit union for 43 years, the last 13 as CEO.
