The $125-million Milwaukee Metropolitan Credit Union has selected Pinnacle Financial Strategies' Member Privilege overdraft program to replace a similar program it had developed in-house. The credit union said it chose Houston-based Pinnacle because its Member Privilege program complies with state and federal credit union regulations. "We wanted a partner that would do more than sell us a program, install it and leave," said MMCU CEO Rich Koenig. "Pinnacle has been here to make sure everything runs correctly." That included staff training and working with the core processor to modify the solution. The credit union reported that after one month fee income had increased 110%.
