SAN DIEGO – Mission FCU yesterday announced that Debra Schwartz, a long-time member of senior management who has been serving as interim president since April, has been named permanent president and CEO of the $1.8 billion credit union.

Schwartz has been serving in the role since the April retirement of Ron Martin.
Schwartz has more than 25 years of financial services management experience, serving as chief financial officer at First Future CU, and as executive vice president at San Diego County CU, both San Diego-based credit unions.
