SSFCU Selects Prime Alliance

TUKWILA, Wash.-Security Service FCU has selected Prime Alliance as its provider for mortgage solutions. The 3.9 billion-Security Service Federal will be using Prime Alliance's Retail Lending Center (RLC) and Loan Fulfillment Center (LFC) to originate and process its members mortgage applications.

Prime Alliance Solutions recently introduced comprehensive integration with Freddie Mac's Loan Prospector offering CUs increased ability to meet the financing needs with these loan decisioning tools that provide members with point-of-sale loan decisions as well as easy-to-understand approval letters.

Also, Prime Alliance is introducing Prime Alliance Closing Services, a program will offer Prime Alliance credit unions credit reports, flood zone determinations, lien reports, title reports, income verification reports, document preparation, closing services, recording services, title insurance, tax tracking services, and other mortgage related services, all bundled into one program.

Prime Alliance Closing Services is designed to provide credit unions with time and cost savings. Time savings are achieved by eliminating duplicate data entry and niche product offerings that speed up the entire mortgage origination process.

CU Lending, BlueStar Partner

Birmingham, Ala.-CU Lending, Inc. announced a partnership with BlueStar Mortgage Company to provide expanded borrowing options for credit union members, including sub-prime mortgages and construction loans. BlueStar Mortgage is Alabama's leading independent mortgage brokerage firm.

PFCU Helps The Underserved

PHILADELPHIA-Philadelphia Federal Credit Union is offering Fannie Mae's MyCommunityMortgage product and funding settlement assistance for qualifying home buyers in underserved areas. It will now be easier for PFCU to help more low- and moderate-income members and first-time homebuyers in the underserved areas of Philadelphia and Bloomsburg.

In addition, PFCU has designated $1 million to assist qualifying members with their mortgage settlement costs. Each member that meets PFCU's criteria can receive up to $2,500 in assistance for a MyCommunityMortgage loan. PFCU is also educating these areas by offering comprehensive New Home Buyer seminars throughout the year.
