WASHINGTON—Mortgage rates moved slightly higher this week from last week’s record lows, according to Freddie Mac.

The average for the 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage moved to 3.41%, from 3.37% last week; while the average for the 15-year loan rose to 2.72%, from 2.66%.
"Mortgage rates remained relatively unchanged this week and should continue to support the housing market and mortgage refinance," said Frank Nothaft, chief economist for Freddie Mac.
ARM rates were unchanged, with the average for the five-year ARM holding steady at 2.75% and the average for the one-year rate holding at 2.59%.
