WASHINGTON Home loan rates moved up this week, after declining the previous four weeks, according to Freddie Mac.
The average for the benchmark 30-year loan rose to 3.42% from 3.35% last week; while the average for the 15-year, fixed-rate mortgage rose to 2.62% from 2.56%.
ARM rates were mixed, with the average for the five-year ARM inching up to 2.58% from 2.56% last week; and the average for the one-year ARM slipping to 2.53% from 2.56%.
