DURANGO, Colo. - (08/10/05) -- A 60-year-old woman and her daughterwere facing numerous criminal charges when they allegedly held upSouthwest Colorado FCU and made off with more than $100,000,according to police. Both Sharon Vaughn and her daughter DanjaVaughn were facing charges of theft and forgery in El Paso CountyCourt when they allegedly held up the credit union, adding to theirlegal woes. The Vaughns were arrested after the mother tried to payher landlord $20,000 in $20 bills, apparently taken from the creditunion. Both mother and daughter attempted suicide on June 9 afterpolice searched their house and found $85,494 of the credit union'scash.
