Motor City Co-op’s Bill Taylor Retires After 40 Years

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Motor City Co-op CU said William Taylor is retiring today, after 40 years with credit unions, the last four as CEO of the $116-million credit union.

Taylor began his career in 1967 at Household Finance Corp. and in 1970 moved to Motor City Co-op CU as assistant manager: the second in command under Jack Rogers. In 1973, Taylor was named president/CEO of First Financial CU. Taylor returned to Motor City Co-op in 2006 as executive vice president and in 2009 was named president/CEO.

He will be succeeded as president and CEO by Steven Andrews, chief financial officer of Motor City.
