‘Mrs. Doubtfire Bandit’ Sought In Alaska USA FCU Robberies

SEATTLE – A man dressed as a woman – just like the title character in the one-time hit movie “Mrs. Doubtfire” – is believed responsible for at least six local robberies since April, including two at Alaska USA FCU branches.

The FBI says the robber passes a note to tellers and threatens to use a weapon. He/she is generally described as a white, about 5-feet-4, 110 pounds with a thin build.

The cross-dressing robber is being sought for holdups at a Key Bank, a Sterling Savings Bank, a Bank of America, a Viking Bank and two separate branches of the credit union.
