SAN ANTONIO – Credit union giant Security Service FCU has launched a new ad campaign on TV, radio and the Web that playfully promotes a shortening of the $6.5-billion credit union’s name.
The campaign features two overzealous Security Service employees who are on a mission to alter the credit union’s name to just “Service,” since that is what the credit union does best. It shows them climbing and painting a billboard, attacking a city bus, rearranging their corporate office lobby and even breaking out their own building signage.
The campaign, designed by Proof Advertising in Austin, even shows the two employees taking over the credit union’s website and creating their own Facebook page.
The multi-media campaign features five TV spots, radio ads, as well as online games and a microsite that continues the well-intentioned duo’s name altering gags.
