DENVER - During its Annual Conference here, the National Association of CU Supervisory Auditing Committees recognized one individual and one organization for their accomplishments:
* Eleanor Willhoite, vice chairman of the supervisory committee at Chartway Federal Credit Union in Virginia, was honored with NACUSAC’s 2008 Golden Service Award, which recognizes a supervisory or auditing committee member who stands out as an example of the significant contribution a volunteer can make to their CU.
* The Curchin Group won NACUSAC’s 2008 Associate Member of the Year. A mid-sized accounting firm based in New Jersey, Curchin is one of the top 15 firms providing services to CUs.
