ADELPHI, Md. – NASA FCU announced it has granted a total of $25,000 in college scholarships to 10 members as part of its annual Mitchell-Beall Memorial Scholarship program.

The program is named for Wilfred Mitchell, NASA FCU president from 1968 to 1972, and Don Beall, president from 1965 to 1991. Beall’s son, Mike Beall, president of the Maryland/DC CU Association, was on hand at the awards luncheon.
The credit union has awarded $300,000 in scholarships during the 25 years of the program.
