ALEXANDRIA, Va. – NCUA has approved the conversion of Nassau Educators FCU to a community charter covering all 2.7 million residents of Long Island, a wealthy New York City suburb.
The $1.5 billion credit union is the third federal charter granted the broad community field of membership, following Bethpage FCU and Teachers FCU.
