Seeking to attract a larger turnout to its annual meeting, Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (HVFCU) brought in national commentator and author on personal finance, Jane Bryant Quinn. Quinn's presence helped HVFCU to attract a record 700 members to the event, at which she had praise for credit unions.
"We all want to maximize our money," stated VP-Marketing Paul B. Stull. "Our goal was to provide HVFCU access to an expert on personal financial management. Jane Bryant Quinn is a leader in this field and was the natural choice.
The $1.7-billion Hudson Valley Federal has 140,000 members.
