ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Representatives of Navy FCU and Visa will join NFL stars Matthew Stafford and London Fletcher at the Pentagon today for a showcase of an educational video game called Financial Football before U.S. troops.
The NFL stars, Detroit Lions quarterback Stafford and Washington Redskins’ linebacker Fletcher , will be rolling up their sleeves to play a game of Financial Football with the military personnel present.
Financial Football is the centerpiece of Visa’s nationwide educational initiative with the NFL and NFL PLAYERS and helps students and adults tackle their financial futures.
The game incorporates lessons taught through Practical Money Skills for Life (www.practicalmoneyskills.com), a free, award-winning money management program. This game is accompanied by a classroom curriculum.
Visa and various NFL stars have also played recent games of Financial Football in Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis and Green Bay.
